What it is

Wrap the perimeter

A construction fence mesh wrap is a printed mesh banner attached to the chain-link fencing around a construction site or vacant lot, usually 6 to 10 feet tall, fixed with zip ties or panel clips at ground level. It turns a bare barrier into a building-scale brand statement at pedestrian eye level for the length of the construction window. We print the mesh and install it in-house, then send a GPS-stamped photo of every finished panel.

The brief

Who it's for.

  • You are a developer marketing your own project and want brand presence on the fence for the full build-out.
  • You are a retail brand opening a flagship in the building under construction and want a coming-soon announcement at sidewalk scale.
  • You are running a major real-estate launch and need multi-month visibility across the construction window.
  • You want the perimeter reach of a building-site install without the price band of a full scaffold wrap.

  1. A surface that's already yours

The construction project already holds the corner, and the fence around it sits bare on most sites. A wrap converts that barrier into a multi-month brand presence at no extra real estate.

  2. Eye-level placement

Panels sit at sidewalk height on busy corners in development-active neighborhoods. Pedestrians walk past the fence every day, close enough to read it.

  3. More visibility per dollar

A fence wrap runs the full construction window in a price band closer to a wheatpaste hero wall than to building-scale OOH.

  4. Pairs with a scaffold wrap

Run it alongside a scaffold wrap and you cover the vertical building face and the pedestrian perimeter together, reading from blocks away and again at the sidewalk.

The method

How it's made.

Permission the site

Placement clears through the general contractor, the property owner, or the developer leasing the site. We negotiate brand placements per site through the firm that controls it.

Print the mesh

We print the wind-rated mesh in-house. Runs are larger and more complex than wheatpaste, so turnaround sits at 7 to 14 days from approved artwork.

Install at ground level

Panels mount to the chain-link with zip ties or panel clips at ground level, typically across 8x20 ft sections. Multi-section installs cover four to eight panels at a single site.

Scale across sites

Multi-site campaigns synchronize installs across five or more construction sites for a coordinated launch. Pair it with a scaffold wrap to cover the vertical face and the perimeter at once.

Document and remove

Every install ships with a GPS-stamped photo. Removal at end of campaign is included in the price, and the panel clips stay in place if you re-print for an extended run.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

Q · 01

How is a fence wrap different from a scaffold wrap?

Different surface, different install. A scaffold wrap covers the vertical face of a building under renovation, usually 30 feet up or more on safety mesh installed by lift. A fence wrap covers the 6 to 10 foot chain-link perimeter around the site, fixed with zip ties or panel clips at ground level. The two run at different scales, price bands, and audiences.

Q · 02

What does a fence wrap campaign cost?

A single-fence install starts at $4,800, covering one 8x20 ft panel section. Multi-section installs of four to eight panels at one site run higher, and synchronized multi-site campaigns scale further from there. The price includes mesh print, install, attachment hardware, and end-of-campaign removal.

Q · 03

Who permissions a fence wrap?

The general contractor managing the site, the property owner, or the developer leasing it. When a developer places its own brand, permissioning is internal. For a third-party brand we negotiate per site through whoever controls the fence.

Q · 04

How fast can a fence wrap launch?

Seven to fourteen business days from approved artwork to first install. It runs longer than wheatpaste because the mesh print runs are larger and more complex. Same-week rush is available in NYC and LA when artwork is press-ready and permissioning is pre-negotiated.

Q · 05

How long do they stay up?

Three to nine months on most active sites, usually removed when construction wraps or the site moves to its next phase. The mesh is wind-rated for the duration, and print color and UV fidelity hold for the run. Re-printing for an extended run adds standard print cost while the clips and fence stay in place.

Q · 06

Do you handle both printing and installation?

Yes. We print the mesh and install it in-house, then document every panel with a GPS-stamped photo. Print-only shops hand off the install. We run both ends ourselves.
