What it is

On every counter

A take-one display is a branded countertop holder loaded with printed flyers or tear-pad sheets, set at café counters, gym front desks, hotel concierge counters, restaurant host stations, and boutique retail. A campaign covers the holders, the printed flyer run, placement at consenting venues, and a recurring restock route. We print the flyers and install the stands in-house, then keep them stocked and photo-logged for the length of the run.

The brief

Who it's for.

  • You are promoting an event and want neighborhood cafés and venues building awareness in the two to four weeks before show date.
  • You run a local-service brand (HVAC, plumbing, lawn care) and want in-context offers sitting at hardware and home-improvement counters.
  • You are a fitness brand looking to cross-promote to a known audience at adjacent boutique studios.
  • You want a print format that reaches independent cafés, salons, and studios that sidewalk and door campaigns miss.

Why it works.

  1. Pull, not push

The customer picks up the flyer when they have spare attention and physical contact with the counter, instead of being handed it or having it placed in their path.

  2. Captive dwell time

A flyer on a café counter sits there through the wait in line, the brew, and the payment. A door hanger or sidewalk handbill gets one pass before the audience moves on.

  3. Reaches affinity venues

Cafés, boutique studios, salons, and concierge counters are where local audiences spend the most attention per visit, so the display reaches the venue's regular clientele.

  4. Print and install in-house

We handle the flyer print run and the placement together. The artwork, the holder, and the restock route stay one accountable job instead of three vendors.

The method

How it's made.

Consent first

Every display goes in with explicit owner consent. We place in independent cafés, boutique gyms and yoga studios, salons and barber shops, host stations, concierge counters, retail, and co-working desks. We do not place in chain QSR or any venue that has not signed off.

Holders and print run

A standard run pairs branded acrylic or coroplast holders with an initial flyer print of 5,000 sheets. Designs that carry a real incentive (discount code, event ticket, free sample) earn more pickups than generic awareness.

Placement route

Crews set the displays at point-of-purchase counters where the venue's audience already dwells. Each placement is GPS-stamped and photographed on install, the same documentation we have kept across 500-plus installs company-wide.

Restock route

A weekly or bi-weekly route checks every display, refills the flyer stack, and logs a placement photo. Any holder a venue has pulled or that is running low gets noted, and out-of-stock displays are re-supplied within 48 hours of detection.

Wrap reporting

The final report estimates take rate per location from the restock-count delta and totals flyer distribution across the run, so you see which venues moved stock and which did not.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

Q · 01

What is a take-one flyer display?

A branded countertop holder loaded with printed flyers or tear-pad sheets, placed at café counters, gym front desks, retail, hotel concierge counters, and restaurant host stations. Customers serve themselves a flyer while they are already in a brand-receptive moment (waiting for coffee, checking in for class, paying), which turns counter dwell time into a take-home brand touchpoint.

Q · 02

What does a take-one display campaign cost?

Pricing starts at $1,900 for roughly 15 locations across one tier-1 city, which includes branded acrylic or coroplast holders, the initial 5,000-sheet flyer print run, placement, and four weeks of weekly restock. Larger 30 to 60 location runs and multi-city campaigns scale from there, with a final quote back in 24 to 48 hours. Every quote covers holders, printed flyers, placement, restock, and the final wrap report.

Q · 03

Where does Beyond Street Media place take-one displays?

Independent cafés (the highest acceptance rate), boutique gyms and yoga studios, hair salons and barber shops, restaurant host stations, hotel concierge counters, boutique retail, gallery and museum gift shops, and co-working front desks. We do not place in chain QSR (corporate policy prohibits it in most), in transit infrastructure, or in any venue without explicit owner consent.

Q · 04

How does the restock work?

A weekly or bi-weekly route handles it. The crew lead checks each display, refills the flyer stack, takes a photo log of the placement, and notes any holder a venue has removed or that is running low. Out-of-stock displays get re-supplied within 48 hours of detection.

Q · 05

What is a typical take rate?

It varies by venue type, offer, and how the display sits on the counter. Cafés and gyms with regulars tend to move stock fastest, retail and hospitality move more slowly, and flyers with a real incentive (discount code, event ticket, free sample) outperform plain awareness. The wrap report estimates take rate per location from the restock-count delta rather than quoting a benchmark number.

Q · 06

What is the turnaround?

Standard turnaround is 7 to 10 days from approved artwork to placed displays. That covers the print run, holder prep, and the placement route. Faster placement is possible on an expedited basis where stock holders are used.
