· 01 · The brief

Beach culture meets Miami scaffolding.

Two Miami walls. South Florida Chariots is a community-sports brand whose audience lives, walks, and recreates in Miami's neighborhood corridors. The campaign is small by design. Two well-placed walls in the right neighborhoods do more work than ten walls in the wrong ones, especially for a brand whose growth comes from local recognition rather than national reach.

Community-sports brands face a hyperlocal visibility problem.

The audience isn't dispersed across the country. They live in specific Miami neighborhoods, frequent specific parks, walk specific blocks. Reaching them through paid social is expensive per impression because the targeting overlap is small. Reaching them through OOH is expensive because the placement minimums are high.

Wheatpaste at the two-wall scale solves the geometry. The placements live in the neighborhoods where the audience already walks. The cost-per-impression in those specific blocks runs dramatically lower than equivalent paid social. And the medium reads as community placement rather than commercial intrusion, which matches the brand's positioning.

The brief specified two walls: corridor-selected, neighborhood-anchored, photographed at full documentation standard. No social amplification required from the brand's side. The local audience would document the work for the brand organically once it landed.

· 02 · Where we ran it

Where we ran it.

The two placements anchored Miami's residential-commercial mixed-use blocks where community sports culture concentrates: the neighborhood-park-adjacent corridors where the brand's existing audience already moves.

Miami's coastal climate adds operational variables that mainland campaigns don't carry. Humidity runs high, ambient salt air shortens adhesive durability, and sudden weather windows can shut down install days. The two-wall scale allowed for tight install timing within a favorable weather window rather than forcing a multi-day blitz across uncertain conditions.

· 03 · What we ran

The service: Wheatpaste Advertising.

Two large-format paste-ups, hand-applied with humidity-adjusted wheat paste formulation. Miami paste chemistry runs thicker than mainland paste, which is the same adhesive composition our crew uses for Honolulu and other tropical-coastal markets. The thicker formulation cures correctly in high-humidity / low-temperature conditions and resists salt-air degradation longer than standard mainland paste.

Creative was brand-mark forward. Visible from 30 feet, legible at vehicle speed for the Miami corridors with mixed pedestrian-and-vehicle traffic, and high-contrast against the neighborhood's typical wall surfaces.

· 04 · How it played

Install completed in a single afternoon window.

Both walls photographed at install closure and at Day 7 for cure verification. The placements held through the 14-day natural campaign window before normal coastal weathering reduced edges. Property-owner agreements were secured before install; both surfaces were on private commercial frontage with documented owner consent.

· 05 · Proof

Proof.

The client received a placement manifest sized to the campaign: two-wall documentation, two-wall scale, no over-engineering.

· 06 · Notes

Notes.

Select the corridors where the audience already concentrates, run the install in a single tight window, document at full standard regardless of scale. A small-budget campaign deserves the same proof discipline as a Tier-1 commercial blitz.

The campaign also confirmed the humidity-adjusted paste formulation in Miami's specific conditions. The same chemistry now ships standard for all our Florida installs: Wynwood, South Beach, Brickell, Coral Gables. Climate-specific paste isn't a premium add-on. It's the baseline that makes coastal-market work actually hold.

Two walls, one afternoon, local audience reached without saturation overspend.

· 07 · Common questions

Why strip the creative back to the brand mark?

Those corridors carry pedestrians and vehicles on the same block, so the sheet has to work at walking distance and at 30 feet from a moving car. Brand-mark-forward creative survives both reads. It was also set high-contrast against the wall surfaces typical of those neighborhoods, so the paste-up holds its edge instead of sinking into the wall behind it.

How does Miami humidity affect how long a paste-up holds?

Salt air and high humidity shorten adhesive life compared with mainland markets, which is why this run used a thicker humidity-adjusted paste formulated to cure in those conditions. Both walls were photographed at install closure and again at day seven to verify the cure. They held through the 14-day campaign window before normal coastal weathering began reducing the edges.

Do you print the posters or do we send them printed?

We print. Printing and installation are both in-house and included in the quote, which keeps stock, ink and sizing under one roof and means the crew pastes material it specced for the surface. Send press-ready artwork and we output at the format the wall calls for. On this run that was two large-format panels, hand-applied.

How do you choose which corridors to paste?

We work from where the audience already moves on foot. For this brand that meant the residential and commercial mixed-use blocks near neighborhood parks, the corners its existing audience passes anyway, ahead of higher-count corridors picked on raw traffic. Both surfaces sat on private commercial frontage, and property-owner agreements were secured before install rather than after the crew arrived.
